How we communicate with you

ParentApps

ParentApps is a free of charge mobile app that allows us to send messages, newsletters and letters straight to the palm of your hand.  You will also be able to access contact information and the calendar of events. This is now our main form of communication with parents and carers and we recommend that you check the messages on a regular basis

It isn’t just limited to parents or carers. Grandparents or others that pick the children up from school can receive essential information straight to their phone.

We ask that at least one parent or carer downloads the app.

To download:-

• Visit the App/Play store on your mobile phone

• Download Connect by parentapps

• Search for Lowton J & I – WA3 2AW

• Enter details to login

Class dojo

Parent access

As well as collecting dojo’s for positive behaviour we also use them to send instant messages to parents and we can receive them too!  In addition, it can be used by parents to send in photos of their child when they achieve something for the first time such as riding a bike, completing a piece of writing etc.

 To join Class Dojo when you start at Lowton J & I, all you need to do is to sign up, using the invitation that the class teacher emails to you.

 For the older children, the login details will be in the front of the planner.

We ask that at least one parent or carer downloads Class Dojo.
